Reporting an error in a calculation
This is the message we most want to receive. If a formula, a coefficient, an assumption, an exclusion, or a statement on this site looks wrong to you, tell us — including where you simply disagree with one of our planning assumptions, since those are judgement calls.
What helps:
- The page address.
- What you believe is incorrect, and why.
- What you think the correct value or wording would be, if you have a view.
We check the claim against the code and the page. If it is right, we correct the page and record the correction with its date on the updates page. If we disagree, we will tell you why rather than ignore it.
See what is documentedWhat we cannot help with
We are not able to review your figures, advise on a specific business decision, or interpret your accounts. USA Biz Profit Tools publishes educational planning tools; it does not provide tax, legal, accounting, investment, or financial advice, and answering those questions individually would be exactly that.
For questions about your own numbers, an accountant or bookkeeper who can see your records will give you a better answer than we could.
Why there is no contact form
This is a static site with no server-side form handling, so a form here would either send your message through a third party or quietly fail. Email is the honest option, and it reaches the same mailbox a form would.
